Reiterliche Anforderungen
Durch ihre große Auswahl an sehr sicheren Pferden und sehr gutes und zugängliches Gelände, ist der Wild Coast Trail auch für fortgeschrittene Anfänger geeignet. Sie sollten allerdings Erfahrung im Gelände besitzen und sich im Galopp auch über längere Strecken sicher fühlen. Reiten am Strand sollte Ihnen Spaß machen und Sie sollten keine Scheu vor Wasser haben. Fortgeschrittene Reiter werden sich besonders an Julie-Annes sportlichen Ritten und an den anspruchsvolleren Pferden freuen. Wild Coast Trail ist auch für fortgeschrittene Reiter möglich, hier wird das Reitprogramm und die Reitgruppe dementsprechend umgestellt.
Pferde
Julie-Anne züchtet einige ihrer Trail- und Distanz-Pferde selbst, um ihren hohen Ansprüchen bei der Pferdequalität gerecht zu werden, und Ergebnisse zu erzielen, die athletisch sind, aber von freundlichem und ausgeglichenem Charakter sowie mit gutem Gebäude.
Die Pferde werden so naturnah wie möglich gehalten und haben in der Regel 24 Stunden Auslauf. Es wird außerdem sichergestellt, dass die Pferde das allerbeste Futter bekommen und es wird ein strikter Rhythmus beim Impfen und Entwurmen eingehalten.
Julie-Anne hat ihre Trail-Pferde aufgrund besonderer Merkmale wie Temperament, Größe, Trittsicherheit und Verlässlichkeit ausgewählt. Trail-Pferde müssen schließlich ganz besondere Pferde sein: Sie sollen munter und fleißig sein, um gut mit den langen Ritten zurecht zu kommen, gleichzeitig aber auch geduldig und ruhig genug, um immer wieder mit anderen Reitern zurecht zu kommen. Die Pferde sind geliebte Familienmitglieder und geschätzte Partner im Safari-Team.
